Roman bridge Vučija

  • 21,6 km from the center of Trebinje
  • How to get there: By car

This bridge is on the river Sušica, and connects an old Roman road which lead from Dubrovnik to Montenegero. It is believed it was built in 13th century together with nearby Vrm towers.

It is located between two cliffs, connecting two steep banks. It is a masonry stone bridge, and upper arches are made of tuff. Tuff layer is connected with half round arches, which gives a very nice and fitting look compared to the natural surrounding.
